The Cook Forest Conservancy thanks you for your generous support! The CFC is dedicated to the protection and improvement of the entire Cook Forest State Park ecosystem – and we couldn’t operate without the interest and kindness of you, and people like you. Current programs include:- protecting our virgin Eastern Hemlock from hemlock woolly adelgid (HWA),
- bridge replacement to keep the hiking trails open in the Forest Cathedral and along our stretch of the North Country Trail (NCT),
- hosting informational seminars on forestry for private landowners,
- working alongside a half-dozen other organizations and agencies on a multi-year assault on invasive plants along the Clarion River, and more.
