The CFC's Partners & Collaborators

The Cook Forest Conservancy partners with other nonprofit organizations, companies, governments, and agencies to better address issues facing the forests and landowners of the Pennsylvania Wilds.  We work with the Pennsylvania Parks & Forests Foundation, and its chapters; with local and state DCNR; with the PA Game Commission; the PA Bureau of Forestry; with Penn State Extension; with the Conservation Districts of four counties; with regional wildlife rehabilitators; and many others.

For example, the CFC co-hosts a number of events each year (…well, in non-covid years, we did…), and is working with seven different entities to control the Japanese knotweed invading the banks of our wild & scenic Clarion River – there’s more info on the anti-knotweed project on our Maps page

Working alongside experienced professionals raises the quality of CFC programs and allows us to share data, ideas, support, and volunteer efforts with these partners.  Some of these include:

If you’re interested in partnering with the CFC for projects or programs, please contact us via the form linked here, and we’ll see if we can be of mutual benefit to one another, and to the Cook Forest area.
